Bridge Structure Plate Arch Culvert

Bridge Structure Plate Arch Culvert with Built-In Steel Frame

Bridge Structure Arch Culverts offer a robust and reliable solution for infrastructure projects, combining high-strength materials and advanced design to provide durable, long-lasting drainage systems under bridges and roadways. These culverts are designed to handle significant load-bearing requirements and can adapt to various environmental conditions, ensuring optimal performance across different applications.

Medium-Sized Bridge and Culvert Structure (Reinforced by Built-In Steel Frame)

The medium-sized bridge and culvert structure features an outer layer made from corrugated steel plates. The plates are carefully selected for their durability, and their waveform design enhances the strength of the structure. For added support, section steel or I-beams are placed within each ring of corrugated plates to form a stable inner support system.

To maintain the integrity of the structure, transverse support ribs are positioned between the steel sections, connecting them in series. This ensures the entire structure works cohesively, distributing the load evenly. The corrugated steel plates are securely connected to the reinforced concrete foundation through bottom channel steel, which further strengthens the connection between the two components.

The amount of reinforcement in the concrete foundation is calculated based on the thickness of the covering soil and the anticipated live load. For projects where the foundation length exceeds 100 meters, a settlement joint is incorporated to account for terrain changes. In these areas, settlement devices are also installed at the foundation joints to preserve the structure’s stability.

Large Bridge and Culvert Structure (External Steel Frame Coupling)

Our large bridge and culvert structure is composed of a double-arc or multi-arc low-arch design, providing exceptional strength and support. The inner structure features steel corrugated plates with a large corrugated waveform, while the outer layer consists of smaller corrugated plates for enhanced structural performance.

A three-layer fixed structure is used to connect the inner and outer layers of the culvert. This design includes the inner steel layer, the arch layer, and the outer steel layer, which work together to provide superior load-bearing capacity. To further secure the structure, a reinforced concrete ring beam is placed at the port position of the corrugated plates, maintaining the shape of the structure and preventing deformation.

Additionally, high-strength concrete is poured between the inner and outer layers of corrugated plates, providing additional stability and enhancing the overall structural strength of the culvert.

Features:

  • High Load-Bearing Capacity: The combination of corrugated steel and reinforced concrete ensures the culverts can handle high loads and heavy traffic.
  • Durable Construction: The use of corrosion-resistant materials and high-strength concrete ensures long-lasting performance, even in harsh conditions.
  • Versatile Design: Suitable for various applications, including highway culverts, tunnels, and bridge structures, with customizable configurations.
  • Efficient Water Flow: The design facilitates optimal water drainage, reducing the risk of flooding or erosion under roadways and embankments.
  • Customizable Reinforcement: The level of reinforcement in the foundation can be adjusted based on specific site conditions, ensuring optimal structural integrity.
  • Environmental Adaptability: Our arch culverts are designed to withstand challenging terrain, including areas with significant settlement or soil changes.
